In the past year, we (I)....
finished our homeschool journey
watched my youngest play his last varsity baseball game
graduated our youngest
planned a wedding for our oldest
gained a daughter in law
watched my oldest son become a husband and a father
gained a granddaughter
traveled to Phoenix, Seattle, and Vancouver.
Drove to Tennessee twice for weddings.
learned how to create stained glass
swam, hiked, and walked regularly
laughed with family
cried
became a second time NaNoWriMo winner
survived an ugly split at our church. Survived being the operative word. Healed? Not hardly.
reconnected with a long lost uncle
pondered new business ventures
spent way too much time on Facebook (and loved it!)
struggled and grew as a Creative Soul
How about you?

Sounds like a superb year, Deb and I enjoyed reading your blog all year long. My year - stayed healthy, stayed employed, got more rejections than acceptances (but more acceptances than 2008), visited Graceland, enjoyed the city of St.Louis, plus fun family time in PA, plenty of pool time here, and laughs/lunches with friends. Can't complain. Let's see what 2010 brings. Happy New Year to you.
You've had some wonderful milestones this year. I'm sorry about your church split - how heartbreaking. Sadly, you are the 2nd blogger I've read to put something like that on their 2009 Year in Review list. ((hugs))
Joanne, congrats on the more acceptances than rejections this year. That's excellent progress!
DebD...what part of unity don't we get as Christians??? Sigh. I was very split over this split. Painful.
Here's to a productive and loving 2010.
That is one full year, my friend. I like how you presented the info in the order that you did and with the color -- very effective.
